A native of Ocean City, I reside here with my wife, Betty, and our six children, James ( 21 ), Thomas ( 19 ),
Robert, ( 16 ), Kathryn ( 13 ), Kristin ( 11 ) and Julie (7).

For generations my family has owned property in "America's Greatest Family Resort",
dating as far back as the turn of the last century.

I became a licensed Realtor in 1977 and obtained a real Estate Broker's license in 1980.
During my career I have sold and marketed hundreds of property.

I was selected Realtor of the The Year for the Ocean City Board of Realtors in 1984,
and obtained the professional designations as a G.R.I. in 1985, e-PRO in 2004 AND CRS in 2006. I served as President of the Ocean City Board of Realtors in 1988 and continue to serve as a Past President.

In 1982 I became a partner in Robert L. Sharp Real Estate, a firm that maintained two
Ocean City offices until I sold the business in July 1989 to Hager Real Estate, Inc., which merged with
Prudential Fox & Roach Realtors on November 14, 2003.

As a member of the Ocean City Board of Realtors I have joint membership in the New Jersey
Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. I have been involved in many committees
over the years, including Computers, Budget and Finance,
Education and Indoctrination, and Professional Standards.

Each year since 1992 I have qualified as a member of the New Jersey Association of Realtors Circle of Excellence, an award presented in recognition of outstanding sales achievement, and hold membership in the NJAR Quarter Century Club while receiving the NJAR Distinguished Sales Award.

Within the community I donate time as a coach in the Ocean City little league and Recreational Soccer, as well as membership in the Cape May County Civil War Roundtable and the South Jersey Garden Railroad Society
