The historic Music Pier ... Cultural and Entertaining ...... One of the major attractions of Ocean City is the famous Ocean City Boardwalk which includes a Music Pier featuring summer concerts of all types.

Home of the Ocean City "Pops" Orchestra and the hub of it's special activities, the historic Music Pier, constructed in 1926, is completely enclosed for year around programs. These concerts are complemented by a full schedule of seasonal entertainment including Philadelphia String Bands, beauty pageants, choral groups and such entertainers as the Pitman Hobo Band.

In June the pier is the site of the Ocean City Flower Show, LuLu Temple weekend, Artisans weekend and Baseball Card show.

The Music Pier is the site of year-around entertainment with dances and big band concerts held during the winter.

Just twenty minutes from the Atlantic City casinos and ninety from Philadelphia, Ocean City is perfectly situated for people who want to escape metropolis without losing easy access to
