- Kite flying competition 5pm at Carey Stadium, 6th St. off the Boardwalk, followed by entertainment and a spectacular fireworks display at 9pm.

- Celebrate Independence Day in the town’s annual bike parade. North end registration begins at 8:30am at Longport Bridge parking lot. Parade begins at 9am. South end registration begins at 8:30am at Our Lady of Good Council, 40th & Asbury Ave. Parade begins at 10am.
