The Ocean City Beach Patrol guards a total of 41 beaches in the summer season. The OCBP guards the beaches the Saturday before Memorial Day and generally closes the beaches the week after Labor Day. All of the beaches are guarded by the last week in June, The beaches that are guarded when our full summer staff is in effect are :

The beaches that will be guarded the Saturday before Memorial Day through the third week in June are highlighted in BOLD print (**). The same beaches will be guarded the week after Labor Day, manpower permitting. At that time we drop down to 5 beaches throughout September and in 2006 we hope to continue this tradition. For the last 3 weeks in September the 5 guarded beaches are :
